A few weeks ago I tweeted about discovering the MoMA Art Lab app, and have loved using it. Last week I got the opportunity to share it with my students. It was a big hit, so I wanted to share it here.
It’s very simple to create beautiful works of digital art using their HUGE selection of colors (scroll down for tons of beautiful colors) and a variety of shapes and lines. I also love that you can explore different artist styles and create like them. Export any of your creations to app smash with.
It’s simple to save your work to the gallery, then save it to the camera roll.
However, if you want more sharing options, visit the settings an enable all the options, like Twitter or email.
Here are some of our creations …
We also loved using it to draw self portraits for our 100th day celebration. Then everyone recorded their learning with ChatterPix.
MoMa Art Lab, is currently still FREE! So get it while you can! However, even at $2.99 it’s really worthwhile.
